Chocolate Souffle
It is not easy to type while my arm is constantly being kicked by my fat and beautiful Pit Bull, but I will try my best!
It has been a while since I haven't thought about this blog -no offense- or let's being offended since no one has been watching and I have been posting recipes I already know and have tried and other things all by myself :) Do I care? Nope!
I had been having a good time home until this stupid California sun has shown itself again. How I miss winter season that looks like and feels like as winter.
After few unrelated short paragraphs, here is the chocolate souffle recipe that I tried when I was in Burlingame. The photo is not nice and was taken 5 minutes after the souffle came out of the oven.
This was my second souffle attempt. I don't remember the first recipe -I remember it was an online recipe- and this recipe belongs to Gordon Ramsey. Both were tasty, but I am still looking for the perfect recipe. I like this one and this was seemed just a little bit complicated than any other recipes I had searched that day, but it worked OK. It had an intense chocolate flavor, but since I used 70% cocoa - dark chocolate, I'd probably try this with something little sweeter next time. Maybe half milk, half dark.
In case of density and rise of the souffle, everything went well. Because I have limited kitchen stuff in Burlingame, I didn't have a chance to use souffle dishes, so it didn;t show well how it had risen.
